My open science goals are to empower researchers to collect, annotate, and share identifiable video data. I manage and support big data projects that address fundamental questions about learning and development. The aims are to facilitate behavioral science and data curation for improved quality, reproducibility, and reuse.


My empirical research investigates how exploration and attention develop and, in turn, drive perceptual learning. The ideas are inspired by a developmental systems approach, which emphasizes the study of change processes.
